Author: Sony Corporation on September 22 released its first Android Tablet PC Sony Tablet S series and P series in China. Sony Tablet S with 9.4-inch capacitive touch screen, based on the latest Android operating system, is unavoidable to be considered as Sony’s trump card to compete with iPad 2. NVIDIA Tegra2 processor, 500-pixel camera, Storage capacity of optional 16GB and 32GB has formed its powerful configuration. 3G version of this device will release later.
Tablet P series include Tegra2 1GHz dual-core processor, dual 5.5 inches 1024×800 screen, 5 megapixel camera and VGA front camera. It supports HSPA, and built-in 3080mAh battery. In addition, it is equipped with SD memory card slot and 4GB built-in storage as well as micro USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. Two screens are used with the same Turlock technology the Sony Bravia TV.
Tablet S looks like a rolled-up magazine, light, stable, and only weighs 598 g. Hardware-wise, Sony chooses the display of 9.4 inches, based on the user’s actual need. The special design of 16:10 ratio provides users better visual experience, without blank. 4:3 screens will result in waste.
